Amid random rubble of ancient ruins,
the camouflaged hunters wait in anticipation.
Garbed in grassy shades of aged greens and dusty olives,
they silently stalk their plumed prey.
A fleet flickering from afar turns into a sudden flash of Arabian color,
as the winged passerine darts across the leafy canopy.
The wait becomes worthwhile as the hunters take aim and shoot…
capturing crystal clear photographs before wandering back in the dense undergrowth.
