Choco Cha Cha

Through the wide open window grate in the back room of his tienda,the chocolatera hears the early preparations for the party.

He smiles silently, knowing that the silky smooth liquid he stirs will soon be ready for crafting into mouth-watering masterpieces…delicate dulces to be served at celebration. As afternoon wears into evening, he hears the pitch of the festivities progress. Outside, the revelers samba and cha cha, providing a rhythm for his work. He dips the last chocolate in dark cacao, placing it on a plate and completing a perfect presentation. Finished at last, he hefts the platter to his shoulder with a flourish and crosses the courtyard to the serving table, ready to unveil his sultry sweets.
