After four days of tradeshow mayhem, I’ve got to say… JJB rocks!! We’re pretty low key about most things, but when it comes to putting on a great show and having a good time, we’re pretty darn good. Probably the best at the show…well…no, we’re absolutely the best at the show. There’s just no one else that is having fun. Everyone is about doing business. Mostly in suits and ties. And with a bit of a scowl on their faces because their feet hurt so much from standing up all day, and not getting any sleep.
So…what do we do at Ju-Ju-Be? We laugh our heads off all day long and have a blast with our music turned up loud. And everyone stops to find out what the party is about!!
I’ll introduce you to our international team one by one, but I thought you’d appreciate the shinanegans that we’re up to. I think shinanegans(sp?) is an Irish word, and it’s only fitting because our UK and Ireland distributor Marie Donovan (pronouced Mary sort of…just not Marie like Marie Osmond) is queen of shenanigans. Also pictured is Nicola Douglas, from Stylobaby, our distributor in Germany, and our very own Katie Evans (on the right)….
More to come about our amazing international team…I really needed to get them caught on video so that you can appreciate them in their full glory. The mix mash of accents, cultures, and massive personalities is what makes it all “charming”, fun, “delightful” and “brilliant” (their own favorite words inserted.)
Hello from Germany…It’s a bleary eyed joe…kinda like a cotton eye joe (if I even knew what that was). Anyway, I thought you would like to see the fun time we’ve had getting ready for the Kind + Jugend Show…and a little behind the scenes action. It’s not pretty, and the booth isn’t even that impressive…at least not until you add all that great product into it!! But it’s an easy way to be at the show, since we are part of the USA pavillion and don’t have to ship a massive tradeshow booth over from the USA and spend lots of money. Instead we just rely on our amazing bags to draw people in. We also have lots of fun giving away tote bags for people to put their tradeshow literature in, etc. They are very cool, and they make a big splash..having tons of JJB logos in bright pink running around the show. Anyway, you can see the progress of the booth coming together…it takes place over the space of about 8-10 hours with 3-4 people working on it. Thanks to Daniel from Israel, Florian from the Netherlands, and Nicola from Germany to help us out in a huge way!!
