I won a BeFab on ebay and it arrived today. It has a number written on the inside of one pocket and the same number on the Nordstrom's tag. What does that mean?

Since your in AZ I'm guessing it came from the Nordstrom final sale store. Do you remember if the seller was in or near AZ too? I remember when I worked at Nordstrom that there was a large place in AZ somewhere where all of their last call items went. Hmmm, it might have even been called Last Call. I can't remember exactly. I'm pretty sure items are marked like that when they go there so that they can't be returned to Nordstrom for full price. I bought my 1st JJB from eBay (a br/ch spicy) and it was marked the same way in one of the pockets but didn't have a tag on it. That's my best guess.

The ebay listing said NV but it shipped from Arizona. The store is called Last Chance. But most of the tags from LC are marked with the price, not a ramdom number. I am super annoyed with the seller- this is not the first issue I have had with her and this bag.

The markings were not disclosed. It was listed as NWT. There has already been some drama. On the first day of the listing i messaged her because there were no pictures of the cp. i messaged her again the last day and then after i won it stating that i wanted an answer. She responded that if i didnt lose the attitude she would sell it to someone else. It didnt have the cp so she knocked down the price a little. The only tags on the bag are the Nordstroms ones, no JJB tags. I really love the bag- it is super pretty but I am so annoyed with this seller.

If the price was like super right...then I'd leave it...but if you paid a pretty penny for it, I may argue some with her and tell her u could get pp involved.. Totally ur call

The winning bid was $112. She dropped it to $100 because of the cp issue. Still a lot of money but not bad for a Fab.

If you are happy with the price and the condition of the bag then i say cool keep it, either way i would leave feedback about the failure to dislose regarding the markings, as well as her nasty attitude... other potential buyers deserve a warning "loose the attitude..." no thank you not nice..

$100 is a great deal for a Fab, isn't it? I agree....leave negative feedback about the non-disclosure. The bag is actually damaged by the permanent marker and should not have been sold as NWT.....

The seller responded. I was wrong she did disclose it: "Apparel items have marked label to prevent store returns, shoes have marked sole to prevent store returns, bags may have marked interior pocket to prevent returns. Any markings are only to prevent unaithorized retail returns and are generally only known to you while you are wearing and do not detract from the look of the items. All items are final sale." but she is saying it is a sku number. So now i guess i have to decide if it is worth the price i paid.

It was $100 you said? for a black/hp fab I'd say that's a really great deal. It is on the interior of the pocket, so it's even less noticeable than a JJB warehouse stamp. Great price!

I decided to keep it. I love the bag and i am done dealing with the crazy seller!
