So I was going to purchase a vanilla major from a friend and she was wiping it down for me and when the zipper on the back got wet, all this black ink started coming out? She said if it got on the earth leather, it wiped right off, but her hands got completely black and she went through tons of wipes and it was still coming up!!! I haven't been to look at it yet, and she is going to give me a killer deal, and I know they are machine washable, but I am not sure if it got on the lining inside that it would come right out like it does from the el....and soaking it could get the ink all over.

Has anyone heard of anything like this before?? I know she bought it from someone else so it's not under warranty, unfortunately. Just curious if anyone's vanilla major had this problem and what you did to fix it??

Came out looking lovely, then as it dried, a spot appeared about half inch up the spine on the champagne lining, and blue all along the zipper. I hate washing earth leather because I have heard of so many problems, but since it's coming up from the zipper, I have no idea what else to do

Oh no that is awful. I feel bad for u. I would ask rachelle or contact jujube because maybe they have an idea that could help fix it.

Maybe I will e-mail customer service and ask. I haven't had the best of luck with jjb's customer service though. It's such a weird problem, when she described it to me, I thought it must be like grease or oil in the zipper, but it is sure blue and not black, so it has to be ink, right? There seems to be an endless supply of it in there, so crazy. I was hoping that this was a known problem that someone had a solution for, but I guess not!

I have not been brave enough to get vanilla anything. I am too worried I would get it dirty or it would get ruined. Lol. But hopefully they can help u and ur luck will be good this time around. The el majors r so pretty and I hope u can get urs cleaned up to use it. I have never heard of this problem before you posting this.
