Re: What are you Mother's Day requests?
Wait, when is mothers day?
We don't do gifts....but I did receive my first ever mothers day card from my son today from school. And it was so lovely that I shed a tear or two and got the biggest hug from him ever
I don't need a day dedicated to me for me to feel love from my kids. That would make me sad...as they get older, for them to only show love in that day...I don't want it to be a day filled with guilt from them about what to buy me and what they should have gotten me...I want my kids to grow up knowing that the mother is the root of the family and without her position, no one would be what they are, the house wouldn't be standing, and we'd all be hungry and dirty
In all seriousness, I don't need anything on mothers day.
They just better love me everyday for the rest of their lives
