I have had my own obsession with JJB for years and used to be a PR junkie!!! But kids grow and now I'm so busy and I don't know all the daily happs, in here. I'm out of diaper bags and have sold my stash. My Black EL Behave that i got from real mom giveaway is my favorite purse to travel with on trips AND I still use my EL Major EVERYDAY!  Anyway!

Today I showed up to a luncheon/fundraiser to support my good friend Kelly who is walking through breast cancer. At the fundraiser was a silent auction. 3 JJB's!!! I was so excited to see those beautiful bags. I immediately went outside and told my friend Michele, oh these are the BEST bags ever (then i went on and on) and she said that the owner has kids that go to school where Kelly teaches. It totally slipped my mind the small world I live in. I was so overwhelmed with pride and joy to know how generous JJB continues to be. Thank you Rachelle for loving on my dear sweet sister and friend. Your love and thoughtfulness are so above and beyond and I'm so proud to preach of JJB anytime I can.

PR, I miss you and had to come tell you that you all make an impact and are loved.

Kristen and Rachelle your messages to me on my caring bridge have meant so much , thank you.

I must admit that, when I opened this thread, I was a bit worried.
I am wondering if you meant "JJB loves to help end Breast Cancer" I am pretty sure non of us "Loves Breast Cancer"

And I'm hoping that you are staying strong in your fight...i've been reading your posts and praying for you. Did you get the hat that we sent? I totally remember meeting you at a Nordies trunk show and was so sad to hear about your cancer. Hoping you are doing well.

Rachelle. I never got a hat from you guys!!!! But I would love anything JJB. Just last night looking at your picture I was seeing all those JJB hats and it made me want one. I wish I had known to look out for it. What did it look like?

So Griffen is in John's class! He is great!!!! Do you know Stacee Derouchey, Mia's mom? She is one of my best friends. We hang with them in SC all the time. Her youngest and my daughter are best friends. Such a small world. I will never forget coming to the PR and announcing how many JJBs I saw at PIrate park and that being your home turf. So cool!!!!

Thank you for praying for me. I am good. I need to write another update. I am so over myself and I keep thinking others are too but I have so much love around me and it pushes me to be better, communicate more and take care of myself. God is faithful and this has been the greatest and hardest adventure of my life and I'm so thankful for it everyday!!!!!

There is a special clarity that has come with cancer that I would never trade for anything and I pray the intensity of that emotion never fades.

And yay for JJB and their generosity!

Amber - I know we don't know each other as I'm a "newer" PL but your post just really spoke to me. My mother battled breast cancer but praise the Lord - she has been cancer free for 11 years now. I can SO relate to your statement about cancer giving clarity. It just changes everything.
And your statement about not being good with words... I would totally disagree (in a PL warm hugs way! ) Your post and replies have been touching. I will definitely keep you in my prayers.
