Thanks so much to all of you - I truly never even think about it, I guess my friends & family IRL are so used to these things that I don't really think of them as being a "talent" to make - I just enjoy doing it and whatever I'm making seems to "absorb" the stress I'm feeling. I've had a very stressful past couple of weeks here lately, too, so my fingers are quite sore and bruised! I'm going to try some of the wonderful suggestions in this RMG, too! This topic couldn't have come at a better time!

Ooooh, I just had to come back and post this in case anyone is interested! I had been trying to find the book that I used to "re-learn" how to crochet when I was 20 yrs old, and I finally found it on Amazon! "Learn To Crochet In Just One Day" was an excellent how-to book, and the afghan shown on the cover was the very first project I successfully made. Now I'm wondering whatever happened to it, I haven't seen it in years! Anyway, just wanted to share in case anyone wants to give this a shot.

Have you ever thoujgh of knitting or crocheting wool clothing for babies and kids? (longies, skirts, etc)

DH has tried to get me to make and sell things for years, but I just can't - lots of reasons, the biggest being that the amount of time that goes into making anything that someone might want - it can take me a month or more to make a sweater and sometimes several months to make a decent sized blanket. I was able to go a lot faster pre-DS . But really, I would rather teach others to crochet than to try to sell my wares. Maybe one day I will...
