As JJB are saying that there is not really a big deal at all about it, then we should have the choice of whether we are willing to accept the condition of whatever set gets sent to us. I'm a little confused about why Marie was told that 11 are totally unacceptable on one hand and yet in other threads on the Bags board, JJB is saying it's basically not a problem. WSS! I'm not that picky, as I've been wanting for these sets. At least can we see their conditions first, and decide for ourselves? I also agree with the raffle being most fair.

 Re: CoB sets
why can't these be discounted and just sold as final sale? tbh I would rather have a discounted dodgy set than no set at all. I just feel that yet again we are the poor relations, the US PL's will get their sets, they have been offered discounts of up to 30% or returns. The Ca PL's have been offered a similar deal and yet we are being told that only 4 of the 15 people that ordered will get sets. We don't even get the choice of whether to accept the sets? I understand that Katie is erring on the side of caution but I feel that we are the ones that always end up worse off than anyone else. We pay more, wait longer and then somehow always ended up the poor relation. DYGWIM?

 Re: CoB sets
As one of the ladies that pre-ordered the Cob set with TCA I just wanted to add my thoughts. I really really wanted a cob set when I heard they were going to be available. I pre-ordered as DH said if I really wanted them the kids would get me them for my birthday we are on a tight budget at the moment. I also pre-ordered the drip drops set. I then cancelled the drip drops set as I thought they were more popular and I would give someone else a chance to get hold of them as I didn't want them as much as the cob. Seeing how excited I was about the cob cos it's my fav print DH then told me to order a cob BP when they became available. So am now really gutted that I will probably lose out on the cob especially seen as how I cancelled the drip drops and no other sets are being made. I'm one of the few on here that doesn't have any set pieces at all But I agree that a raffle for the 4 best sets would be the fairest way to allocate them. But then the remaining sets should be offered to those who have ordered and still very much want them. I have no idea if this is at all possible but what about the sets being checked over and then split up and re-matched pieces from other sets to see if any more acceptable sets could be made? But then it depends what is classed as acceptable. Personally I would be happy as long as all the pieces zip up properly and don't have any sizeable holes. Glue marks and print placement isn't an issue for me. Gaby

 Re: CoB sets
This situation really is awful, I initially wanted cobalt and instead went for dd, I later decided I wanted both but was too late. It must be awful to know you may not get anything at all after preordering and waiting such a long time, and it's a shame these issues were not highlighted before leaving the factory, knowing they were of limited numbers? Guess I'm going to sit tight and hope I receive my dd set ( my first and only set )
It would be nice though, one day to be offered the purchase of something prior to the USA? Cheeky I know! :d

 Re: CoB sets
Hi All,
Have just spoken to Marie, and we hope to have our new order with us early next week. As soon as I know what has definitely been sent to us from US I will let you know and we can then decide what to do about the COB BeSets.
best Jane

 Re: CoB sets
Thanks for the update Jane. Are the faulty CoB sets coming over as well? Has Emma's excellent lottery idea been discussed as it seems that everyone here seems to think it's a good idea.
