Bags for our little ones PLEASE
Kipling has done it with their Mini range, I'm wondering if you could come up with small miniature bags for little boys and girls from toddler age upwards? Kipling Mini is meant for kids as young as 2y and yet it so happens that they're favored by adults so recently they started to lengthen the removable cross body straps.
I have a LITTLE BAGMAN AAAAAAAAhhhhhhhhhhh!!! He keeps pinching my Minibe!!!!!!! Every time I wear it he wants it too. He already has a Kipling Mini messenger bag and will only wear that one when I'm also wearing mine in a different color. I thought this was a thing with little daughters that they want to accessorize like their mom, but sons? He's not girly or anything he prefers dinosaurs and robots to dolls anytime.
Minibe prints seem quite girly atm, and he doesn't care for the Cloud Break (he gave his BeLish to his dad). I'm hoping for PT and Vines pretty please?
Minibe's quite large for him he gets frustrated when the straps slip off his shoulders. I'm thinking maybe a small drawstring wetbag/swimbag style made of the BeLight/MB material?

First of all let me just say that your mini is my favorite color combo!, just put up a post about it lol..and second my daughter loves backpacks so if JJB made one for toddlers I would be so in!

Your son is adorable!
A smaller bag for the kiddos is a great idea. My boys also love bags and it would be great to have a smaller bag in boyish prints for them.

I think this would be a great idea! Even the "big kids" love those kind of bags. My DS is 11, and UNder Armor makes one, and most of his buddies have one. For sports, for their little phones, IPods, a book, a DSi whatever. I completely think that would rock! Great idea!
Stash: Under construction - I have a ton to add, and no time to do it!!! =0)

Just to give you an idea, not to be spoonfeeding or anything LOL I trust JJB is able to come up with better designs..
These are a couple of Kipling Mini series best sellers for almost a decade now: Puck, front (convertible backpack/messenger) Puck, back
Teddy (the model DS has but in a different color):
Here's what DS has been wanting but I can't seem to find in US, found it abroad while on vacay. At the shop I couldn't pry his hands off it! It's a googly-eyed backpack:
All come in colors friendly to boys, girls, and unisex. They still continue to be a huge hit across Europe and Asia Pacific among kids, parents and childless adults alike, although they were initially designed for toddlers to tweens. The Puck has multiple interior compartments including a cell phone pocket. Kipling Mini even has kiddy wallets that fit inside the bag pockets, sorry forgot their names can't search.
The Puck retails for about $50 and the Teddy about $35-40. I bet if you can price your kiddy bags in the $25-50 range they'll still be a hit.

Thanks! Oh so I don't feel so alone now with boys loving bags. DS also pinches DH's small crossbody bags. He would put his Transformer bots in them.

Funny you should suggest that bc there is another post about that kind of bag...I believe the name of the post is something about having a "backsack"

Eh Kidsteals has boy-style messengers on this morning, but I don't know if the straps are long enough for adults. A few bag companies make bags for kids but most are not suitable for adults, Kipling is one company I know (used to work for their Europe agent ) who does. If JJB can make these kinds of bags that can be used on 2 yo - 72 yo, their customer base would explode. Back when working with the Kipling agent, I even had elderly grandmas buying the Mini bags for their grandchildren and themselves, and because these bags were much cheaper than Kipling mainstream bags, customers would purchase several colors and designs for the same kid.

Each of my kids have a MiniBe but the pocket space just is not large enough for toys or books. My son adores his mini backpack (it really is a decent size for his 3 year old body; he just has the strap issues the op mentioned) but it really only holds his hot wheels and other small toys. I love the durability and cuteness of JJB. Oh! and maybe the gender neutral colors (i.e. black/silver) bags could be without bling so that they are more suitable for boys.

With back to school shopping happening now, I was just thinking this myself. Except I was thinking more of a bookbag for kids--larger than the minibe and with more pockets. Can you tell I'm trying to decide on a bookbag for my new kindergartener?
