Post CoB sets
Marie, after the QI's that the USA have suffered can you please try your best (yeah I know) to make sure ours are ok? It would be doubly pants if we had to wait another month or so and then when they turn up they aren't all pretty

Hi Kellee,

I am completely on top of this - I was only onto the US the other night asking where they were - I now believe that these are on the way to the UK warehouse - I promise to keep you all informed as best as I can:)

Best

Marie

Post Re: CoB sets
Hello Ladies!!!

I wish I was the bearer of good news here but alas I am not!!

Thank you to Kelle for highlighting this quality issue in the US - we were told that our BeSets were posted out to us separate to our main delivery which is in next week. So once I saw the post - I rang the US straight away and sure enough there are fairly big issues with the BESETS particulary in Cobalt Blossom - we had 15 ordered and only 4 are going to be anyway right - however out of the 15 Drip Drops - 14 are perfect.

I spoke to the lovely Jane in TCA as this really affects them as well and I am just off the phone again with the US to ask just how bad they are and whether with a discount (to be obviously passed onto you guys) was it worth to bring over the "faulty" BESETS COBALT BLOSSOM and to be fair to Katie in the US she said that they were just not right even with a discount.

So here is the hard part - 4 BESETS IN COBALT BLOSSOM - how do we make this fair for you all - could you let me know your thoughts?????

I need to find out from Jane if all the BESETS IN COBALT BLOSSOM have gone to PL's as you guys are my first priority in this situation so any non-PL's will I am afraid have to be disappointed.

Let me know what you think?

Mxxxx

Marie, what an awful mess :( it's so sad. I had ordered 2 be sets, one for me and one for dkmissie in sweden. The factory need to hang their heads in shame over this quality debacle. It's just not good enough tbh, only 4 of 15 are decent? that's a shocking figure

Personally I would rather just receive the sets even if they are not perfect unless there are gaping holes in them! Rachelle has said on another thread I think, that the reality was that many of the issues with the sets aren't actually a quality control issue and that the posts on the forum have made it seem worse than it is. So effectively, as I have understood it, JJB are saying that there isn't really a problem except with a small number of the sets.

How will Jane know if we are PLs? I'm fairly sure she wouldn't know that I am for example :D

Post Re: CoB sets
I'm a bit confused... surely the CoB sets are already on the way to the UK? Or does this mean the US haven't actually shipped them yet and they've checked over the 15 Sets that are set aside for us?

Anyway, here's my suggestion to handle it:

> Hold a raffle/draw for the 4 good Sets.
> Jellybean/TCA should contact everyone that has ordered to see whether they want to be entered into the draw
> 1 entry per person, regardless of how many Sets have been ordered.
> Once the 4 good Sets are allocated, then everyone else that still wants a Set (and doesn't cancel immediately) gets pot luck on the remaining 11 Sets.
> JJB should fund free returns for anyone that is not happy once they've received their Set and wants to return it to TCA for a refund

For example, I am not desperate for CoB, it was a nice-to-have for me and DD is the Set I really want. So I won't enter the draw for the good Sets so that others have a better chance of getting one.

Feel free to jump in ladies with any other thoughts. I won't be offended if anyone disagrees.

I agree with Emma - a raffle is the most fair.

I too thought the sets were already on the way to the UK? At least that's what the other thread said I'm sure. I really don't think that anyone should be making decisions about whether we get the sets based on condition though. As JJB are saying that there is not really a big deal at all about it, then we should have the choice of whether we are willing to accept the condition of whatever set gets sent to us. I'm a little confused about why Marie was told that 11 are totally unacceptable on one hand and yet in other threads on the Bags board, JJB is saying it's basically not a problem. :?

I think Emma's idea is a very good idea actually. I can't think of any fairer way of doing it. I also think that Emma is very sweet and lovely to say she wouldn't enter the draw for the CoB sets.

WSS... Although I'd love a CoB set, I'd do the same as Emma and let another PL have a good chance at getting one of the four.
