MightyBe - love the size. My favorite part would be the 2 long external pockets on the front b/c they fit our karate belts PERFECTLY. Good strap drop length, stuffable. I am one that would like for it to zip.

MB: I don't know that I would change much--it's great the way it is :)

All: I'm definitely a no-flap PL  I have a tote-all or three and I love having the zipper closure on top versus wrangling the flap out of the way. I basically had the seamstresses turn the changing pocket into the mommy pocket by moving the smaller pockets, etc. from the flap when it was removed.

Post Re: The Be All and MightyBe
Be All: Just used my All for a kid-free trip this weekend because my Mini Hip was too small. I like the flap but I find the mommy pocket and front pocket almost completely useless. If the mommy stuff was moved to the front pocket, and the front pocket was slightly wider, that would really help. I'd also lighten up the flap a bit so its more like the Hip flap. I don't see a need for a zipper, as long as the flap is long enough to magnetically close easily.

MB: No changes, for what it is its a great bag.

Be Prepared: Love it. You guys added a snap behind the Mommy pocket but could you add a matching one in the changing pad pocket? Without the changing pad in there it kind of slumps over on that side when half empty. I'd prefer magnetic snaps to regular ones, the one on the front pocket is kind of hard to close. And I would LOVE if it came with or had an option for BFF-like backpack straps. Agree with the comment that the bottle pockets are great but the flaps are a little short to close sometimes. But overall I love my BP and just writing this is making me want to use it.

Not really an All fan so I don't really have any comments here. Some people love it, some don't. I have lots of other bags I love so I'm declaring no comment on the All.

MB: Love the MB! I'd like a few more pockets on the inside for organization and a key fob would be nice but none of these are pressing matters to me. Personally, I wouldn't want a zipper on it- it'd take away from the ability to put so much in and make the top too heavy IMO. I don't even use the snaps actually, I just like to leave it open. D rings are nice but they're an easy thing to add on your own so I just do it myself. As has been mentioned, I would love a MB in Bashful! THat's my #1 request! :D

BP: REally like the BP and can't think of much I'd change on that either.

Love the internal organization of the BP and the overall look. I mean how rarely do you see carry-ons and weekenders in the shape of a purse?

The only thing I would change about the BP is to make it lighter. I know the heaviest portion is the base panel that serves as a bag stabilizer, but on newer model BPs I don't know if it is due to the lighter fabric or that stabilizer, when not fully packed the base tends to bend and becomes a curve. Wonder if you can find a sturdier and lighter alternative? Like a cheaper version of carbon fiber to keep costs low?

I would definitely put something sturdy and hard on the bottom of the Mighty, so it's easier to sit properly without falling over.

I would love a zipper on the MB and maybe some inside organization (mesh pockets?).

I like the BeAll as it is. I had an issue with the flap before but I don't mind it now...plus the BFF is sort of the "flapless BeAll", so it's really not an issue anymore.

I love messenger bags because they're easy to wear cross-body which helps a lot when I'm chasing after a 4 and 1 yo.
Here's what I would change about the All: I would get rid of the mommy pocket in the flap. It just doesn't work well. Instead, I would just make the flap a plain flap. :D I don't like the diapering area in the zipper on the bag. Instead I would make this part a zippered mommy pocket, like on the Tween. I think it would be great with the sunglass pocket, 2 mesh pockets and a key fob. This would be a great place to keep my stuff secured so I wouldn't have to worry about it falling out of the main part of the bag. I would also add a grab handle on the top of the bag. I have a Skip Hop Dash that has a grab handle and it's nice to just grab that when I'm trying to move the bag around.

I love the MightyBe! I love the light fabric and how it's makes the bag soft and squishy. I also love the short middle pocket in the front, so please don't change that. I don't find the 2 zipper pockets on the inside that useful since the pull the top of the bag down if you put anything some weight in them. Even my iPhone in an Otterbox case will pull the pocket down. I would take those out and maybe add in a couple of mesh pockets on the inside. I wouldn't need many, maybe only 2 or 3. I wouldn't add a zipper to it. I love how you can really stuff it and I think a zipper would take away from that.

Be All: I agree that the strap could be longer. Plus, I'm not sure if this is possible or a good idea even with the wider strap, but swivel clips would help avoid twisting of the strap. I must say I really love the All. I agree that those who don't want the flap should try the BFF. I personally don't use the mess shuttle... instead I use that pocket as more of a mommy pocket, since not much fits in the flap without being bulky. I think it looks odd when it is flap-less.

I agree. I would like a mommy pocket on the Be All where the mess shuttle pocket is and leave the flap as just a flap.

Coming to think of it I suppose you can make a hybrid All by migrating the mommy pocket to the back of the bag, with a zipper closure on top, maybe taking 1/4 the depth of the bag and the other 3/4 is the baby section that closes with the flap.

Post Re: The Be All and MightyBe
All:
--My favorite daily diaper bag!! Love the size, all the mesh pockets inside the main compartment, the wider strap, and the flap! Have never had a problem with the strap getting twisted.
--Keep the mess shuttle; it’s great!
--Keep the mesh zippered pocket in the changing area; it’s great for storing a spare set of clean clothes. Even with a 2T outfit and socks in there I can still zip it up and close the flap just fine.
--The flap can get bulky when stuffed, but I don’t need to stuff it as there’s plenty of room elsewhere. The sunglasses holder in the flap is perfect for DD’s sunglasses, and the zippered pocket in the flap is great for mints/gum or lady items.
--I would move the key fob out of the flap though, and perhaps instead attach it to the inside where it’s within easy reach (for example near one of the inside ends).
--I put my wallet, keys, and phone inside of a Coach wristlet (yes still waiting to try a Major) and put that either inside the bag or in one of the bottle pockets, since those items are too bulky to keep in the flap.
--A longer strap wouldn’t bother me. If fact, my tall, broad-shouldered hubby would probably like it so that it would hang a little lower on him when worn cross-body. But, I would still want to be able to tighten the strap so it can be just as short as it goes now (since sometimes I do carry it over my shoulder like a tote; although usually I wear it cross-body).
--I thought about suggesting moving the mommy pocket to the change pad area and putting the change pad inside the zippered flap (flap would have to be wider or the zipper configuration changed so that it would fit, though), but thinking about it more I like having the change pad against my body because it’s smooth and padded, vs. the bulkiness of mommy pocket items like keys, phone, and wallet digging into my back or hip).
--A zipper on the main compartment, but only in addition to the flap, could be nice. It would not be a deal-breaker for me, though. And if it were added, I would want it to be the “tote” kind that completely separates, so that when unzipped the entire width of the bag is still accessible.

MB:
--Love the price, weight, size, and stuff-ability!
--Key fob would be nice, but not a deal-breaker.
--D-rings would be great so that it would work better with stroller clips.
--Zipper closure would be nice (but only if it did not change the price much). If I needed to stuff it more I would just leave it unzipped!
--As an alternative to a zipper, at least better snaps (or better placement of the snaps, perhaps) would be great. The snaps always come undone when I pick it up by the handles, which annoys me.
--I don’t need any internal mesh pockets; I love that the MB is just a larger, lightweight bag to throw extra items and bulky things into. I don’t use it as my main diaper bag, so I don’t need the organization (or want to pay more for it). Plus, quicks and sets work great if I need to organize smaller items inside.
--A matching, lightweight messenger strap that could be purchased separately from JJB would be nice (this would keep the price down for those who don’t want the messenger strap but allow the option to buy for those who would use it).

Love both these bags!
The Be All is my fav messenger diaper bag. I like the easy open magnet flap, horizontal organization, bottle pockets. I find the zip inside the flap is hard to use (mommy pocket) because I flip it up so often. How about swapping so the mommy pocket is in the front (instead of change pocket) and has a small gusset and closes with a magnet of its own (rather than zip - zips are hard when digging with one hand & juggling babies & groceries ). The flap pocket is good for light flat things like nose cloths, wipes, etc.

Mighty be - hmmmm. Actually, it's already perfect. :) Wait! A tall pocket inside (mesh?) for a waterbottle or travel mug would be the one thing I always miss with my MB.

Xoxo!

I wouldn't change a thing about the MB....except you should make it in Bashful !!

OOOooo. Bashful would be beautiful.
I love the mighty as it is. It's so packable. So easy to stuff full or to get nice and flat to take along on trips. I bought a BFF strap from a PL and love having that option available. I'm very happy with the big openness inside and the pockets outside to get quick things like a waterbottle or medium set.

I only used an All briefly but sold it because with all the fairly regular outting stuff I had, it felt heavy. But it's just not my kind of bag and I'm very happy with others.

I love hearing all the sides! If I had to pick a few things only on the Mighty Be that would hopefully not change the price too much and not change the tote/light weight spirit of the bag I would narrow my list down to:

-a key fob
-change the middle pocket to either a long pocket (like the blossoms) or 2 short pockets (like the EL MBs)
-and maybe 2 medium set sized mesh pockets on the inside of the bag on either side.

For the MB what she said!

As for the Be All, this bag didn't work for me at all, but I absolutely adore the BFF. I couldn't deal with the flap in the All, the momy pocket in the flap wasn't used, and I found I had to dig for things in it. With the BFF I just love how it opens and I can see everything I have inside at a glance.
