I've had only good experiences both buying and selling there, but I'm mainly selling these days. There are PLs and non-PLs (or totally new JJB fans) there. Things sell more quickly there since a lot of newer JJB fans are there building stashes and ready to buy (IMO).

The only bad thing is the effect the FB page has had on my check book. I love being able to sell and trade there since I dont have the post count here yet. I have yet to have a bad transaction and notice I see a lot of the same ladies from the PR on there as well. Like everyone else said things do tend to move a lot faster and its much easier to keep up with when mobile.

Thanks ladies for your feedback. I just find it all very confusing on the page, and how do you pm someone on there? Is that even possible? I'm not very FB literate, so that may be part of my hesitation too.

Another voice to chime in on the good transaction history over there. The prices have been good, the action has been fast, and all my transactions have been positive.

As for how to PM people... when you click on their name it takes you to their page and there's a button on the right side of the screen you click that says "message". When you receive messages from people click on the little "speech bubble" thingy in the upper left, click through to see all messages because on the far left they have this "other" folder where messages from people that are not your friends will end up, so if you're selling make sure to check that. And when you're buying it's considered smart to post "sent you a PM" under the person's listing so they get notification (you don't get notifications when messages land in your "other" folder) and know to look for your message.

definitely check "others" folder in your messages!!!
i had no clue there was even such a folder and am embarrassed that i had a slew of messages in there, some from long lost family members trying to get in touch!
a nice lady helped me. i can sell and have in here, but over all there's less drama and everyone just wants to have a flood time and things move fast! i've sold several things. haven't bought yet. yet. lol

I sold a hip before it moved to the new page you have to join. It was great. I need to join the new page because I used Ebay once since and the fees were more than I expected. Does anyone have a link? I can never find it when I search on FB.

I would even tag the person (unless you are on your phone and then I'd ask someone else to tag them) since people don't always get notifications. You can usually (sometimes FB is wonky though) tag by starting to type the person's name and then there full name usually pops up below and you can push enter to sort of highlight the name. When you are tagged in a post, it is much easier to know that someone commented. Sorry that probably sounds confusing.

I have bought and sold several times on there with no problems! I actually barely look at the PR fsot page anymore!

I've bought and sold on the FB page and all transactions have been great. I also love being able to see the pictures and shop by sight, rather than description.

Wow, it sounds like everyone has had great experiences on there! Thank you for all of your help! I guess I'm just not one for change and FB is so different from the PR to me. Well, gotta try new things sometimes, huh?
